Vikings Of Skate is the brainchild of Al who first skated in the 1970s when these photos were taken of him in Paris. The name was chosen because of the founder’s Scandinavian blood and it suggests a fearless skater attitude.
VOS sets out to be the perfect fusion of original ideas and stylish execution. Formed with original, authentic roots from when skateboarding was in its infancy.
In the early days Al skated in London and the south of England with highly regarded 70s skaters like Mad Mark Baker, Steve Kellner, Brian Kellner, Marc Sinclair and Jeremy Henderson, all key players in the skate and surf scene of the punk era.
At that time Al was mainly a street and pool skater in the UK, Paris and South of France. He also skated with Shogo Kubo from the legendary Dogtown Zephyr team.
Years of skating and a drive for originality is what makes Vikings Of Skate genuine and different. The goal is to create fresh designs and quality products that make people smile and want to wear over and over.

Skateboarding is still very much in the blood and Al still skates streets, ramps and pools. Sometimes with his kids and sometimes with the old crew but always with passion.
